Capital has been awarded the fifth project in MoDOT’s Improve I-70 Program, covering the stretch between Boonville and Rocheport. 👏

This $104M design-bid-build project will include:
🚧 Adding a third lane to I-70 in each direction along the 13-mile corridor between MO Route 5 in Boonville and the Lance Corporal Leon Deraps I-70 Missouri River (Rocheport) Bridge
🚧 Widening two bridge structures - one over the Union Pacific Railroad and one just west of the Rocheport Bridge

This is a monumental project, and we’re grateful to be part of delivering these vital improvements to Missouri’s busiest corridor.

Our crews are making progress on the U.S. Hwy 160/Independence Overpass project in West Plains, MO! 🚧

To improve traffic flow and enhance safety, this project replaces the former at-grade rail crossing with two new structures - one spanning the BNSF Railroad. Our team will perform half a mile of concrete paving, along with curb and gutter work and upgraded storm drainage systems. The scope also includes approximately 1,200 feet of MSE wall.

This overpass is a critical improvement for the City of West Plains, providing continuous east–west access during periods of high water from Howell Creek. Huge shoutout to our crews for their work on this vital infrastructure project. 👏
