Based out of our Columbia, MO shop, Richard works as a Mechanic and recently demonstrated great dedication to the safety of his team. While a teammate was working on a wheel, the operator seat unexpectedly fell, trapping both of his hands underneath. Richard immediately responded to the calls for help – climbing onto the machine and lifting the heavy seat to free his teammate.
Thanks to Richard’s quick thinking and attentiveness, a potentially life-altering injury was prevented.

Colby is a part of the Capital Aggregates team and works out of our Ozark, MO quarry. He consistently ensures that every task – whether part of a major project or daily operations – is done the right way and the safest way for everyone involved. He’s the first to jump in, lend a hand, and go above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. Always humble and never seeking the spotlight, Colby’s dedication to safety and excellence makes a lasting impact on our quarry operations.

Reece is a Safety Coordinator for the Capital Aggregates team where his commitment to workplace safety shines through in every aspect of his work. From conducting early morning safety meetings to personally auditing night shifts, he consistently demonstrates an unparalleled dedication to protecting our teammates. Reece doesn’t just enforce safety protocols, he makes safety personal. By educating employees and thinking proactively about potential scenarios, Reece goes far beyond the expected parameters of his role. His visibility and hands-on interaction with both supervisors and field employees create a culture of safety that ensures everyone goes home at the end of the day.
