We were pleased to welcome the Infra Emerging Leaders class to our Jefferson City Sand Plant yesterday. A big thank you to our Sand Operations Manager, Jim Sauder, for providing the group with a thorough and informative tour of the plant’s operations! 🦺

Checking in from I-44 in Greene County, MO! 📍

Our crews have officially kicked off construction on this $70 million project to widen I-44 to six lanes - three in each direction - between Missouri Route 13 (Kansas Expressway) and U.S. Route 65 in Springfield!

Additional project details include:
🚧 Replacing the I-44 bridges over Broadway Avenue, Grant Avenue, and National Avenue
🚧 Building a pedestrian underpass and trail improvements east of Grant Avenue
🚧 Resurfacing I-44 between west of Missouri Route 266 (Chestnut Expressway) and U.S. Route 160 (West Bypass)
🚧 Constructing a sound wall south of I-44 from the National Avenue bridge west, approximately 2,550 feet

Slated for completion in May 2027, our crews are proud to safely deliver this major improvement for the residents and travelers of Springfield, MO! 👊

On June 3rd, 2024, Tom’s swift actions at our Rocky Fork Asphalt Plant were not just commendable, but potentially life-saving. By following all safety protocols, Tom assisted a third-party hauler in distress. His efforts ensured the driver received rapid medical attention from the EMS team.

His actions reinforce our belief that safety isn’t just about prevention - it’s also about responding swiftly and effectively in emergencies.
